Seeking a new shape for a non-upholstered seating element, a lounge chair or a chaise lounge? the design blossoms from a "cellular" genesis of petals sewn in triangular shapes, creating ample patterns. This lounge is offered in two versions, Anitbodi (with padded petals) & Tecnobodi (as shown). Shown here is the Tecnobodi lounge chair which is offered in two versions - wool front/technical weave back or flame-retardant Trevira CS front/technical weave back- fixed to a stainless steel metal frame.
Born in Oviedo, Patricia Urquiola attended the Madrid Polytechnic and the Milan Polytechnic Universities where she graduated in 1989 with Achille Castiglioni as her supervisor of whom she was assistant at the Milan Polytechnic from 1990 to 1992. She has worked with many great talents and a plethora of companies worldwide. This brilliant Spanish architect is a phenomenon not to be lost sight of.
