Utzon, who received the prestigious Pritzker Architecture Prize, is considered world-wide a master of original design and light, one who had his roots deep in Nordic modernism. He worked as an achitect in Alvar Aalto's office in 1946 and in 1957 he designed pendant lamp U336 for Artek. At the same time he had also started to design the Sydney Opera house.
U336 suspension lamp is offered with a white painted steel shade accented with either a white, chrome or brass plated middle reflector. Includes a 98" L white plastic cord with light fixture plug.
