Vitra Jill Wood Chair

The Jill chair is the first collaborative work by Vitra and Alfredo Haberli.

The Vitra Jill chair is inspired by the beginnings of laminated wood shaping and re-explores the limits of this technology: using a patented process, the laminated sheets are twisted like a ribbon until they meet one another in the seat.

This produces an open, flexible shell in the transition between seat and backrest that supports the body with remarkable comfort.
