It was only a matter of time before Philippe Starck turned his mind to such a popular, desirable and useful object as the iPad. The resulting creation is a lamp that satisfies our daily need for information, entertainment and always-on connectivity. D'E-Light has a radical, extremely functional design, with USB socket above the light diffuser for an iPod, iPhone or iPad.
D'E-Light is an LED, energy-efficient task lamp with charging dock for iPhone, iPad or iPod. The top is offered in chrome-plated aluminium, stem in extruded aluminium, base in zamak to increase stability and it is chrome-plated. It features an optical on/off switch with Soft Touch technology and light flow adjustment to 2 intensities (100% - 50% - 0%).
